Visual Identity System, One-page Publication Design, Social Media Graphics, Virtual Background

Project Summary
Liberation in a Generation approached me to develop the visual identity for the inaugural Liberation Economy Townhall in Florida, the first in what could become a national event series. The identity needed to feel distinct and event-specific while remaining aligned with the organization’s established brand system and policy-centered credibility.
Centered on the question of what economic liberation could look like for communities of color, the townhall convened progressive leaders, organizers, and policymakers to explore bold policy ideas around housing, jobs, education, and collective economic security.
The visual identity was created to represent open dialogue and the power found in varied perspectives. Through intentional composition, visual layering, and dynamic forms, the system reflects conversation, exchange, and collective vision-building. Beyond the core identity, the system was extended across a cohesive suite of materials, including a one-pager, social media graphics, and a virtual attendee background. Each touchpoint was designed to feel unified and purposeful, ensuring consistency across digital promotion and live engagement. Together, the materials established a thoughtful visual foundation for what has the potential to evolve into a recognizable national event series aligned with the organization’s broader mission to reshape narratives around our economy.
